1. Introduction

I've just turned 27 years old, and I have three years left until I turn 30 years old...

I've been thinking about work and my own future business all the time, which is fine, but I also need to think about when to marry...

If I get married at 30 and have a child, I'll be 50 when the child turns 20! I want to have a 20-year-old child in my 40s, so I need to get married within two years at least.

In today's blog, I'm going to write about what I want to accomplish between the ages of 27 and 30. It is always said that if you write (visualize) your goals, they will come true, right?

Oh, by the way, my dream is to have my own school by the age of 30. I'm going to write down what I need to do each year to achieve it.

2. Year of 27 ages

I'll probably still be working at my current job, so I'd like to learn as many/much as I can there, use the resources I am thankfully given, and challenge myself to do a lot of things.

I'm developing an English curriculum from scratch and even doing teacher training, so that's probably my big training before I get independent. This is because as long as I can develop the product, all I need is the manpower and money.

I am sure I'm really learning a lot by doing this project.

Basically, you can expect good things and you are trying to get it better, so you are not really surprised or learning from the outcome. It's just as you expected because you did it.

Rather than that, I think you can learn more from the unpredictable and negative ones. I think it's more important to think and act in such a way that you can sublimate your complaints into something positive.

However, if you think in this way, you always need to blame yourself for that kind on begativities/failures.

Well, the fact that you are overloaded means that you are learning new things, so in that sense, I'm thinking it positive.

I'd also like to make more money on the side jobs. Recently, I've been getting more offers from various places. I really appreciate it and thank you, everyone. Thus, I'd like to build up my track record. I think this will help me a lot in the first stage of being independent, so I'm going to challenge boldly. I also want to collect reviews and personal word of mouth.

By the time when I'm in late year of 27 ages, I'd like to be running a side business in cooperation with someone else.

3. Year at 28 ages

I think I will have quit my current job by this time. That means I can make enough money to live on the side jobs (= in a way, it is already my first main business at that time).

I'm sure there are already people who can help me run the business together, so I want to be in a position where I can devote all my resources to expanding it.

I would like to spend the necessary resources (money) on the things that are necessary, to the extent that I would have to give back my salary or borrow money.

For example, marketing. I believe that areas that are not our specialty should be outsourced to specialists, and I think it is more cost-effective to ask for one-off services than to hire a half-hearted person to do the marketing (although of course, it is better to do it in-house).

The important thing is who to ask. I have them in my mind already, so I'll ask them then✌️

Well, I'd like to start small and gradually to lower the risk, so I think I'm basically doing this online only.

During this period, I'll be collecting the necessary funds to build a (physical) school, adjusting and redeveloping the products (lessons, courses, etc.), and preparing to start the school in as perfect a condition as possible.

4. Year of 29 ages

I'll probably have built at least one school in Japan or the Philippines! at this time (maybe!? haha)

This is how I expect:

Mr. A: I heard that the famous online school "Ken's School" has built a physical school!

Mr. B: Seriously? That's definitely a good, especially since it's face-to-face.

I believe I can achieve the same quality of learning both online and offline, but people stille seem to like face-to-face more and are used to it.

And it's rarer to go from online to a real store (school).

For example, if UNIQLO (physical store) opened a store where you can order online, it would be like "hmmm", but if Amazon (online) opened a physical store, it would be like "rare".

I'm aiming for something like that✌️.

To sum it up in one sentence, I'll be finally have a physical store (school)! That's my goal for 29 years old.

Also, I want to get married! lol

5. Year of 30 ages

When I turn 30, I'd like to expand the number of stores (schools). At least one school in Japan and one in the Philippines.

But in the future, I would like to have at least three schools in Japan (Tokyo, Kansai area, and Kyushu area) and three schools in the Philippines (Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao).

I'd also like to expand to more places as a franchisee for example, in the U.S. or Australia? That part is still undecided.

I'd also like to accept interns. I would like to work with them and learn new things from the young people of the time.

6. Summary

It's a really really huge dream of one young boy (am I still young? haha), but I think I'm taking the steps in a rather realistic manner. All I have to do is to work hard and move in the right direction. I have a pretty good picture of it in my mind, so I think I just need to move.

When the time is right, I may call out to people on Twitter and Facebook.

It's only SN, but it's still SN...

I'm going to try my best to make a lot of connections!

Thank you for reading🙇‍♂️
